Priscilla passed away peacefully August 11, 2025 at Journey Care Hospice in Barrington, Illinois.
She was born February 5, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of John and Roberta (Schnoebelen) Lambert.
Priscilla was a graduate of Glenbrook North HS and she received her B.A. in English and French literature at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1968. Upon graduation, she worked in the medical insurance industry/benefits for 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Roberta Lambert, and her first husband, Terry Madison.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Mortland, Andy Mortland (stepson) and Kitty Mortland (stepdaughter). Two grandchildren, Lexie and Mikayla Mortland. Three sisters, Stephanie Anton, Sue Carlson and Nancy Armstrong. Niece Cathy Dodge (and her husband Joe Reikert), three nephews John Dodge (and his wife Susie Dodge), Bryan Carlson (and his wife Heather Carlson) and Erik Carlson (and his wife Cindy Carlson). Five grandnieces, Melanie Carlson, Erika Carlson, Anna Carlson, Julianna Dodge, and Dayna Carlson and two grandnephews, Westley Carlson and Ben Dodge.
Priscilla was active in her church and Bible study. She was an avid reader and card player. Dan and Priscilla loved the outdoors. They were active golfers, bike riders and walkers. And they loved the Chicago Cubs.
Priscilla was a very kind, spiritual, caring person and she will be greatly missed by family and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 16 at the Moorings in Arlington Heights.
