He died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Good Shepherd Hospital in, Barrington.Mr. Unger graduated from Maine West High School where he ran track and played football, Northern Illinois University, where he majored in finance and received his MBA from Roosevelt University.Scot was the loving husband of Claudia (nee Ostermann) Unger; devoted father of Joseph Scot and Michael Thomas Unger; dear son of Lois; fond brother of Denise (Joe) Lipinski and Mike (Sharon) Unger.He was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Unger.Family will receive guests Friday, July 1, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a remembrance at 6:30 PM, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N.
