

Randall K. Wilkin Sr., 93, of Mt. Prospect and founder of Wilkin Insulation, passed away Wednesday May 18, 2011, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Randall was the beloved husband of the late Agnes W. and the late Rita I. Wilkin; loving father of Randall K. Jr. (Hilary), Michael P. (Susan), and Mary Beth (Dennis) Garde; cherished grandfather of Heather (Marc) Srodulski, Erin (Jason) Rosenberg, Brendan (Jamie), Laura, Elizabeth (Cal) Jordan, Emily (Eric) Burke, Clare, Michael Jr. (fiancee, Elizabeth) and Michael, Cletus, Peter and Aileen Garde; great-grandfather of six; and dear brother of the late Fred Wilkin. Visitation will be Sunday, May 22, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Funeral services will be on Monday, May 23, beginning at 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Road (Route 83) and Lincoln St., Mount Prospect, for Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. Mr. Wilkin was a World War II Army veteran and a Purple Heart recipient, wounded at the Battle of the Bulge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rev. Robert J.
