Raymond A. Hornbostel, 83 of Arlington Heights was born May 27, 1937 in Chicago to Walter and Elsie (Liedtke) Hornbostel and passed away January 3, 2021. Ray was the beloved husband of the late Anita (Degnitz); loving father of Thomas (Lilly) Hornbostel, Susan (Dan) Spieker, Laura Hornbostel and David Hornbostel; cherished grandfather of Natalie (Josiah) Hargis, Christina Spieker, Noah and Wade Hornbostel and step-grandfather of Cindy and Michelle; dear brother of the late Robert Hornbostel and fond uncle of James (Libby) Hornbostel and Ruth (Tim) Holland. Due to Covid-19 gathering restrictions, funeral services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Peter Lutheran School, 111 W. Olive Street, Arlington Heights, IL.
