Richard A. Frost

Richard A. Frost was born October 4, 1937 in Chicago to Anthony and Gertrude (nee Konwinski) Frost. He passed away on June 14, 2023 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Richard served in the United States Navy as a Petty Officer, 2nd Class Aviation Electronics Tech. 1956 - 1962. He served as the Indian Chief for the Indian Princess with his two daughters for many years. He also coached softball for both daughters teams. Richard was a airplane and classic car enthusiast. He enjoyed entering his award winning classic Ford coupe in area car shows. He was an avid Skeet shooter, watch collector and model airplane builder. Though his greatest joy was traveling the world on cruise ships with his wife.

Richard is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Kamka) Frost; his children Richard P. (Elyse) Frost, Vicki (Jose) Salinas and Debbie (Matt) Pitchford; his grandchildren Shayna, Samantha, Alexander, Aidan and Vincent.

He is preceded in death by his brother John (Carol) Frost; his grandson Kyle Frost and by his parents.

Visitation Monday, June 19, 2023 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
