So sorry to hear about this. Have not been able to see Dick for about the last 10 years or so but back then the topic of discussion was always how much he loved his kids. May he rest in peace now after his hard fought battle with cancer.

How I remember the happy times of childhood living next door to you. We had the world and I doubt that we even knew it. It sounds like you went on to have a wonderful family. How precious that is. May you rest peacefully in the arms of our loving Saviour, Dick.

I feel blessed to have seen Dick at our last Ricnie family reunion, had to have had the honor of his company for two days during that time.  My prayers to our Lord go out for Dick's children and parents in this time of sorrow and grief, asking for them to have strength and acceptance that he is with the Lord and without pain or suffering now.

Oh so many memories, from being a little girl and you taking me out in the boat on the Fox River, to being in your wedding, to being godmother to Kaila.  Then the absent years when I moved out of state and our lives lost connection.  You encouraged me to not focus on the  would-a, could-a, should-a and I am so glad we had that day at your home and out to lunch, your wedding announcement, you at the graduation party for my son and our recent visit in Florida.  I gave you the gifts that I could, though they were few and far between.   I am grateful to have had you in my life and more blessed that I was able to tell you that.  I know you are not a big game player,  but you are going to have to learn to play pinochle because I am sure the Richie clan has set a spot for you.  Until it is my turn to join the table, give them all a hug and kiss for me and help me keep an eye on the crew down here.  Go rest high on that mountain now cousin~~umpire those ball games and finally have some rest.   I loved you then, I love you now. God Speed.

So very sorry to hear about Dick. I have fond memories of him while we were growing up in Porten's. My deepest sympathies to the Kamerlander family.  May God ease your pain with the loving memories you share.
