Richard Lee Mallory, Vietnam War Marine Corp Veteran, was born on September 5, 1943 in Lincoln, Michigan to Stanley and Ruth (nee Schram) Mallory. He died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at home in Buffalo Grove

Dick worked as a Machinist for ITW Signode. He was a member of Palatine American Legion Post 690.

Dick is survived by his wife Mary Ann (nee Anderson); children, Eric L. (John Constantine) and Chris N. (Dan) Barrett; grandsons, Conor and Daniel Barrett; siblings, Connie (the late Boyd) Kinnee, Marilyn Mallory, Keith (the late Carol) Mallory, Donnie (Theresa) Mallory, Gary Mallory, Rosalie Ittner; brother-in-law, Lee Dault; sister-in-law Mariona Mallory; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Gloria Dault, Stanley Mallory, Joan White, Dale Mallory, and Vandetta Mallory; his parents.

Memorial Visitation from 3:00 pm until time of memorial service 4:00 pm, Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Interment Private.
