Richard E. Marinangeli was born January 12, 1952 in Spring Valley, IL to Henry and Lorraine (nee Marenda) Marinangeli. He died October 11, 2018 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.
He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University. He was awarded a National Science Foundation Fellowship for post-doctoral research in Lyon, France. He spent his career at UOP LCC in Des Plaines, IL as a research scientist.
Richard is survived by Sheila (Barry) and their daughters Lucy Marinangeli and Jean Marinangeli; his siblings Marcie (Rich) Koehler, Anne (Jerry) Burgoni, Joan (Kevin) Pangrcic, and Lois Marinangeli.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral and interment services are private.
