Robert L. Oberwetter, 86, of Mt. Prospect, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 22, 2016. Born in Chicago to the late Arthur and Leone (nee Thorsen) Oberwetter. Robert is survived by his loving wife Arlene (nee Nelson) Oberwetter; beloved father of Robyn (John) Gatti and Tom (Lori) Oberwetter; cherished grandfather of Jackie (Dave) Zydek, Callie (Matt) Wrobel, and Grace Oberwetter; great-grandfather to Evan Zydek, Ella Zydek, and Dominik Wrobel, Maddie Wrobel; dear brother of Arthur Oberwetter and Jane Oberwetter; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 26 from 10:00am until time of service at 1:00pm at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, IL. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
