

Robert James Stefani passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024, at the age of 82 in Arlington Heights, Robert was born on November 10, 1942, in Kankakee, IL. He is the adored son of the late Margaret Ellen (nee Benton) Stefani and the late Albert John Stefani. Robert approached life with a positive attitude, leaving a legacy of warmth and dedication that will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Above all, Robert cherished his family. Robert was the beloved husband of the late Jane (nee Heinrich) Stefani and the loving life companion of Barbara (nee Meier) Stefani. Dear father of Daniel (Linda) Robert Stefani, David (Diane) James Stefani, and Mark (Cindy) Allen Stefani. Proud grandfather of Dylan, Sam, Kane, Jack, Kyle, Chris, and Ryan. His love for his family was profound and unwavering, providing a foundation of support and joy that will resonate through generations. Robert's memory will be held in the hearts of his loved ones as a beacon of love, laughter, and the beautiful moments shared.
Robert had a successful career as a real-estate salesman, broker and manager. He was passionate about finding the perfect homes for his clients. His professional life was marked by a commitment to service and excellence, traits that earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
An avid golfer, Robert could often be found on the greens, enjoying the serene mornings and the camaraderie of close friends. His love for the sport was paralleled only by his fondness for fishing in the waters around Marco Island in Florida and foreign travel.
Robert was also a skilled DIY handyman, a hobby that showcased his creativity and resourcefulness. His hands could fix anything, and he took great pride in completing projects for family and friends, always with a story to share and a smile on his face.
As we say goodbye to Bob, we celebrate the remarkable life he lived and the countless ways he enriched the lives of others. His memory will live on as a testament to a life well-lived and a man well-loved.
The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. An additional visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of the Funeral Mass service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Burial at 11:45 AM follows at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.
