Rohini Harish BontjeOf Arlington HeightsRohini Harish Bontje was born July 8, 1973 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to Harish B. and Usha H. Patel. She died March 9, 2016 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.Rohini was employed by Allstate Insurance for 17 years, where she met her husband James. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Cubs from the bleachers. She also loved to travel, seeing much of the country and the world. She was a devoted wife and mother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children at home as well as at the ball fields, courts and parks. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, kindness and friendship to all.Rohini is survived by her husband of 16 years James Bontje; her children Caleb, Joshua and Asha; her siblings Rohit H. (Dipti) Patel; her nieces and nephews Andrew, Kate, Kelan and Dylan and by her parents.Memorial visitation Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Memorial mass Monday, March 14, 2016 at 12:00 PM at St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.
