Rolland W Wakeman

Rolland Wayne Wakeman was preceded in death my his parents, Rolland and Mae (Denson) Wakeman and by sisters, Mildred (Wakeman) Berry, Donna Wakeman, Sharon (Wakeman) Dunn, Kathy Wakeman, and Brother, Robert (Bob) (Kathy) Wakeman. He is survived by sisters, Barbara (Wakeman) Burns (Harve), and Janet (Wakeman) Cote, (Michael Charter). He is also survived by Nieces, Stacy Mancini, Shannon Dunn, Tanya George, and nephews Shawn Dunn, Buster Dunn, and many great nieces and nephews.

Rolland, aka Wayne, was an avid card player, enjoyed all genres of music, an avid chess enthusiast and loved his cats. He is a veteran and served 4 years in the Army and graduated from Aurora College and later became a CPA. He will be very missed by his family and friends.

A visitation for Rolland will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of service 11:00 AM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 East Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Followed by an Entombment and Military Honors at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
