Rory Taylor McClure

Rory Taylor McClure was born December 26, 1954 in Peoria, IL to Norman and Anna Mae (nee Kreiter) McClure. He died August 14, 2019 at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura, Florida.

Rory graduated from Illinois State University in accounting and passed the CPA examination. His career was as a consultant / project manager in the computer / technology world, directly out of school working for Touche Ross, then his own firm, Crowe, Algorithmics, and most recently a partner with IBM. Rory had many hobbies and interests in his life: sky diving, scuba diving, water and snow skiing and most recently ballroom dancing.

Rory is survived by his children Sean and John McClure; his siblings Diane Mesenbrink and Christian (Dawn) McClure and he will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Rory is preceded in death by his parents and his older brother Kenneth McClure.

Visitation Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 9:30 am until the time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at Christian Life Church, 400 E. Gregory Street, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Habitat for Humanity, 322 W. Lamar, Americus, GA 31709.
