Rose was born in Chicago on October 10, 1958 and grew up in Park Ridge. She met her husband Rick at work, raised two sons, and after Rick passed Rose proved herself to be the strongest, most loving mother one could ask for. She cherished music, in particular Jimmy Buffet and The Grateful Dead, and went to countless concerts with friends and family. And she was always there to support the many musicians in the family at our own shows. Rose loved the birds and bunnies that visited her every day, and always made sure they were happy and fed. Her grandson Mickey, the child of dear Dusty and Lisa, was and will always be the apple of her eye, alongside her three sons. She was somebody that, even if you met her in line at a grocery store, would leave you with a memory you'd have forever. Graceful, empathetic, beyond intelligent, indomitably strong, and more caring than can be put into words. Her heart was so big there was always room to take shelter there from any storms that blew through, or simply to rest in if anyone needed a reprieve. Rose was and is a beautiful anomaly, and her infectious wisdom, tenacity, courage, and love will stand firm forever, carried forth by her family and friends until we pass the torch.
She was preceded in death by her parents Margaret "Mickey" Paluch (McBride) and Chester Paluch, by her beloved husband Richard, and by her dear siblings Tom (late Julianne), Peg, and John Paluch. She is survived and will be forever in the hearts of her sons Joe and Mike Biernat, and Dusty Taylor (Lisa); her siblings Jim (Laura), Michelle (Michael), Mary Lou, PJ, and Max (Erin); her many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends; and her precious grandchildren, sweet Mickey and little Lola.
In the words of Rose: Always be kind. And always look up! To where rainbows glimmer, where the birds soar, where the moon says 'hello', and where shooting stars pierce the vaulted sky above. And now, to where she looks down upon her family and friends, with her family and friends. Together, always.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, July 19th, from 3pm to 8pm at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. The final farewell will be at All Saints Cemetery, 10:30am, Saturday, July 20, 2024. In lieu of sadness, donations of laughter and smiles can be shared in Rose's honor, that she may live forever and ever in our hearts. Settle down easy, Rose ♥
