Ryan Gabriel Fulmer was born on November 11, 1999, to his loving parents Steve and Diane (nee Goehrke) Fulmer, and passed away on April 23, 2026. He was the beloved brother to Cathleen (Carlos Monrroy) Fulmer; dear grandson to the late Ralph and Carole Goehrke, Rosemary Fulmer, and the late Bob Fulmer; fond uncle to Alyosha Monrroy; and beloved by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and coworkers at TempCo Electric and Yen Yen Restaurant. He will be missed dearly.
Ryan was known as a humble and kind hearted individual. You would always see him with a big smile and was always willing to help others, whether that be through listening in a time of need or helping his fellow classmates with schoolwork.
Ryan was an incredibly gifted individual. He had to miss his first semester of Bradley University due to an operation but didn’t let that affect his goals and he was able to graduate with his mechanical engineering degree in just 3 ½ years. He was never one to brag about his achievements, which ranged from getting a perfect math SAT score to being a published author. Some of his work includes a chapter in the college textbook: An Essential Guide to Thermal Conductivity; as well as writing trade papers on Thermal Conductivity which can be found in the American Society of Thermal and Fluids Engineers, and several other publications.
When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed working with his hands, what started with Legos when he was younger, turned into wood and metal working. In school he played football, basketball and volleyball.
He was a dedicated hard worker who loved learning new things and challenged himself to find out if there was a better way to do it. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in Ryan’s name to: The Sudden Cardiac Death Awareness Research Foundation (SCARF) scarfnow.org
