Sally Ann Costello

Sally Ann Costello was born on November 2, 1930 in Des Moines, IA to George and Ruth (nee Strayer) Folsom. She died Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Costello worked as a secretary for Bankers Life Insurance in San Francisco, CA and as a technical typist for Quest Technology in Arlington Heights. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights. Sally served as a Church Elder and Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and PADS Volunteer. She was also involved in Presbyterian Women, Night Ministry, Cook County Jail Ministry, and Indian Reservation Ministry in South Dakota.

Sally is survived by her children, Kate (John) Haussmann and Carrie Costello; grandchildren, Matthew Haussmann, and Michael Haussmann; brother, Kent (Joyce) Folsom; sister-in-law Dorothy Folsom; brother-in-law, Jack (Sally) Costello; nephews and nieces, Doug (Karen) Folsom, Jill Folsom, Rich (Christie) Folsom, Jack (Susan) Textor, KC (Mary) Textor, Janet Osborn, Beth Folsom, Nancy (Mike) Lane, Pam (Robert) Blades and Mimi Costello; and faithful dog Betsy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Costello; her parents; siblings, Jack Folsom and Patricia Textor; brother-in-law, Tom Textor; and nephews, Todd Textor and Jim Folsom.

Services and Interment will be held privately.
