Sandra L. Kowalski

Sandra L. Kowalski was born on September 17, 1958, in Evanston, IL to Leonard P. and Elsie (nee Borre) Conrad. She passed away, peacefully, on January 13, 2024, at her home.

Sandra worked as a Property Manager for many commercial properties throughout Chicago and the Northwest suburbs. She also worked, for several years, as a florist and loved to make floral arrangements for her loved ones.

She was an active member of James MacDonald Ministries where she loved spending her Saturdays at Bible study.

Her interests and hobbies included studying the bible, catching up with family and friends – especially over breakfast, and running her eBay shop. She loved horses, flowers and nature. She found so much tranquility on the ranch in Nevada where she could ride horses, watch the wildlife, and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Sandra is survived by her spouse of almost 32 years Mark Kowalski; her sons Alexander (Christina) Kowalski and Garrett Kowalski; her mother Elsie Conrad; her sister Debra Conrad and her brother Allan (Brenda) Conrad; her nieces and nephews Kylie, Luke, Chad, Kaitlyn, Michael, Kevin, Tommy, Erica, Molly, Ryan, Lizzy, Courtney and Julia; she is also survived by her sister in law Carol (Lance) Powell, her brother-in-law Thomas (Patricia) Kowalski as well as her sister-in-law Lori (Mike) Allred; Sandra was a dear friend to many and was loved by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father Leonard Conrad.

Visitation Sunday, January 21, 2024, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004 and on Monday, January 22, 2024, from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Raymond de Penafort Church 301 South I-Oka, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie.
