Sarah Clark Crosbyof Arlington HeightsSarah Clark Crosby was born on November 24, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to James and Sarah (nee Walsh) Clark. She died Saturday, July 2, 2016 at JourneyCare Hospice at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, Illinois.Mrs. Crosby was retired after working for many years as an administrative assistant. She was a member of St. James Church where she volunteered with the Connected Group, the Shawl Ministry, and was a Eucharistic Minister. She also volunteered for the Arlington Heights Senior Center.Sarah is survived by her daughter Mary Ann (Mark) Anderson; her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Brian Anderson; and her brothers, John (Donna) and Lawrence Clark, as well as many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Margaret "Peggy" (John) Zurawski , James "Buddy" Clark, and Patricia "Patsy" (Don) Bryers.Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, July 15, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Prayers Saturday, July 16, 2015 at 9:15 am, at the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, Illinois for Mass at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to JourneyCare Foundation 2050 Claire Ct.
