Sarah J. Worthy was born on October 27, 1959 in Evanston, Illinois to George Joseph and Bonnie M. (nee Provo) Comiskey Jr. She died Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Worthy was a homemaker who also spent time as a preschool teacher.

Her interests and hobbies included traveling, volunteering for animal rescue organizations and arts and crafts.

Sarah is survived by her spouse Robert Worthy, her mother Bonnie M. Comiskey (nee Provo); her children Stephanie (John) Lyons, Tim (Fiance Jessica) Cohen and Tom Cohen; her step-son Russell Worthy; her grandchildren Madeline Lyons, Emily Lyons, Johnny Lyons and Emery Cohen; her sister Jane (Don) Sinclair; she was also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father George Joseph Comiskey, Jr.; her siblings Kathy Comiskey, Ginger Comiskey and Jim (Cynie) Comiskey; as well as one nephew Wesley Sinclair.

Visitation Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., (capacity limits, PPE requirements and social distancing in effect) 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004 where funeral services will be held Monday, October 19, 2020 at 11:00am. Entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines.
