Scott Dennis Mies, son of the late John and Gloria Mies, passed away on December 30, 2025. He was born on March 14, 1952 and spent his career in early childhood education and human resources. Scott was the beloved husband of Gwyneth (nee Brundage) Mies; loving father of Marci Mies; caring brother of Steve Mies, dear uncle to D'Arcy (Brian Kasch) Mies; and fond brother-in-law, cousin and uncle to many.
Visitation will be held at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy Arlington Heights Illinois on Saturday January 10th from 10:00 to 12:30. Celebration of life will immediately follow from 12:30 to 1:00. A luncheon will be held after the celebration of life for those that wish to partake.
