Shakay Boghossian, 91 of Schaumburg, formerly of Mt. Prospect was born November 17, 1924 in Lebanon to Meguerditch and Anna (nee Dersarkissian) Boghossian and passed away January 7, 2016. Shakay was the dear sister of the late Hagop (late Nancy) Boghossian, Marie Boghossian and Araxi (late Karnig) Sarrafian; beloved aunt of Elizabeth (Creig) Day, John (Margaret) Boghossian, Margaret (David) Carhart, Christopher (Deborah) Boghossian, Thomas (Sandra) Boghossian and Michael Boghossian and great-aunt of 16. Visitation will be Monday, January 11, 2016 from 3-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, January 12 at 9:45 AM at Armenian Evangelical Church, 905 W. Golf Road, Mt. Prospect for funeral service at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Ridgewood Memorial Park, 9900 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Armenian Missionary Association of America, 31 W.
