Sheila Kay Jaloway was born on July 8, 1947, in Streator, Illinois to Frederick and Elsie (nee Novak) Kantt. She died Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Lee Manor Nursing Home, Des Plaines.

Mrs. Jaloway was a homemaker. She was a former Girl Scout of America Troop Leader and taught in the St. James School of Religion for many years.

Sheila is survived by her husband, John: her daughter, Susan (David) Caton; her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Jaloway; her grandchildren, Sarah Caton, Ali, Rachael, Joey, and Samantha Jaloway; her sister, Carol J. Darenski; and her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, John J. Jaloway; and her parents. Visitation Thursday, November 30, 2017, from 3:00 pm until time of funeral service at 8:30 pm, at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Committal Service Noon, Friday, December 1, 2017, at Long Point Cemetery, Long Point, Illinois.
