Stan – It all began in La Beau woods, hunting for kite sticks that people had no more use for.  Your philosophy was always that homemade was the best.  The paper had to be just the right weight and the cross stick bowed at a precise angle.  One does not run to get their kite in the air; it is gently lifted with several firm tugs on the line.  Who knew you could send a message up the string reaching all the way to the kite?   This was just the beginning of all the life lessons I have learned from you in my lifetime. 

The most important lesson will remain forever – Love.  Love what you do, who you are with, how you spend your life and most of all love yourself.  I will miss you dearly in the years to come all the while holding those memories of the 50 years we shared together.  When we meet again, I will have for you – chocolate chip cookies, and yes, they will only have 3 chips.

We are so very sorry about Stan's passing. To witness the love and devotion to him over the years and especially during the past 14 months was truly amazing. Know that we are always here for you and you are in our thoughts.

I've had the privilege to work with Stan since 1992.  When it came to sales, Stan was on a level few achieve.  I was trying to think about what made him so great; I'm not sure if it was his love of "winning" or his hatred for "losing".  Regardless of the answer, Stan made us better.  In 2009, I had the privilege to go fishing with Stan in Canada.  I am not sure how many years Stan went on this trip.  While he did hold a pole, I am fairly sure in all those years that never touched a hook, bait, or fish.

Stan meant the world to a lot of people and everyone that knew him, knew how warm his heart was and how fun he was to be with. Whether he was flying his kite or cooking the best meal I've ever had, I will always remember Stan as a the best uncle and person I could have ever hoped to have around. I love you Stan.

Stan's spirit will always reign true in our family's hearts. Although, as short and cliche as it sounds, it couldn't be any more true. We'll miss you Stan.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.  Rose, watching you during the last 14 months, I've come to know just what a strong, loyal and loving person you are.  Your relationship with Stan during these difficult times was remarkable to watch.  You continued to show great love and compassion while facing the daily challenges that you both had to endure.  I know that Stan fully realized the depth of your love and commitment.  And it was that love that allowed him to fight the fight as long as he did.  Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Thank you for your support & kind words.  I'm missing Stan so much but we were fortunate to have spent many, many years together.  We were always there for one another.  These past 14 months were the hardest of all our years together and never did I discourage Stan from wanting to work or walk again.  He had to learn patience which was "new" for him.  He taught me how to face courage and be stronger than I could ever imagine.  

He's my beloved "Goodie" and I miss him dearly.  My heart aches.  I know he's in the hands of the Lord & his mother and he has no more pain.

Dear Rose - We are deeply saddened by Stan's passing.  We miss him so much.  Stan helped us a lot when we first moved in; taught our kids the joy of flying kites and learning how to bike; showed us the right way to carve a pumpkin !  We miss his easy-going nature and fun-loving personality.  We are very lucky to have known such a great guy.  Our kids will treasure the memory of playing with their Uncle Stan.  We loved him and will miss him dearly.

Stan was not only my uncle and Godfather, but he was a dear friend of mine. I've known him literally my entire life and I'm saddened beyond words to see him go. I've only ever had good memories of him. He will be in my heart forever. I love you, Stan.

I worked with Stan for many years at Bosch.  He was always kind to me.  He was very dedicated to his job.  We also used to share vacation notes... I will miss him.

My sincere sympathy and prayers are with you during this difficult time.  I had the privilege of working with Stan the past 13 years.  Stan could always bring a smile to my face every time I talked with him and I will miss him.  It was our long-standing joke, Stan would ask “Who’s the best salesman?” and I would answer “You are!”  Stan was a kind and thoughtful person and would always remember to ask me about my daughters- he never forgot all 4 of their names.  Stan also liked to remind me about when he was a gymnast- he was so proud.  I am glad I had the opportunity to work with Stan and will never forget him.

In my years as a sales manager Stan is the only salesman I have worked with who truely understood the sales process. Rose, I am so sorry to hear of Stan's passing. I had the privelage of working with Stan for many years and there was no one more loyal to his customer than Stan. Stan worked hard and was respected by his peers. I will never forget the picture Stan showed me of him on the gymnastic rings and how proud he was of this accomplishment. Stanley and I shared life’s experiences since childhood.  Playing on the Kennedy Expressway during its original construction.  Exotic bike trips to locations like Wisconsin, attended Northern Illinois University together. We spoke daily about the things that made our lives tick, I knew all his secrets and he mine I will miss him greatly.  He took great pride in his sales prowess as he was a leader in his field. He was my brother, loving husband and with great pride my friend.
