Stephen Paul Columbia

Stephen Paul Columbia, a beloved husband, loving father, brother, and proud grandfather, passed away on July 18, 2024, surrounded by his family at his residence in Arlington Heights, IL at the age of 70. Born in Versailles, KY on February 5, 1954. Stephen dedicated his life to his family, exercised and trained thoroughbred racehorses for 23 years and recently retired from driving for the United States Postal Service, 10 Roads Express. Stephen enjoyed gardening, sports and music.

Stephen is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Diane (Harkin) Columbia, and their children: Sean (Kristy), Ashley, Paul (Maria), and Patrick; brother, David; sister, Paula; brother-in-law, Kevin (Cathy) Harkin; grandchildren, Colette, Leonora, and Luciana; aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and beloved dogs Sonny and Gracie.

A Memorial Visitation in remembrance of Stephen's life will take place July 25, 2024, at St. James Catholic Church 820 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Opal Columbia, and brothers Gary and Benjamin Columbia.
