Alexandra and Benjamin, I was lucky enough to have gone to grade school with your Dad. I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear that he passed away. I went to Notre Dame High School with him for our Freshman and Sophomore year and rode the route 50 bus with him every day. He was a great guy and was totally one of our "family" at St. Mary's. I am so glad that Steve was our contact for Geodis Wilson.  His work was always superior and his thoughtfulness was always appreciated, he was a wonderful guy. Love and prayers to the family.

Steve and I met back in the mid 90's which we worked together and for many years after, we became friends instantly, we had lots in common, so many laughs and great times together, he was like my brother. 
He was sweet, shy (if he didn't know you well and even if he did..lol..people who knew him will understand this) fun, and often spoke of his kids, Mom/Dad and family, which he loved dearly.
I will miss you Steve and not the news anyone wanted to hear, I'll see you on the other side my friend.  I wished I would have sang one more time for you, so until we meet again, I will sing "The Rose" in memory of you, which I know you liked me to sing.
