To our Fourth Canasta teammate,
       Our hearts are saddened knowing you are longer here. Your laugh and sarcastic comments will live strong in our hearts/memories. The lake won't be same without you- who else am I supposed to joke with about Jens terrible catching/throwing ability. The friendship our trio has built over 10+yrs is something to be reckened with; You have been a great friend and I pray for the strength needed to help anyone you have called family or friend get through this difficult time. Until we meet again my Friend ❤️‍🩹

Being new to the league and to the area (after being away for a long time) Steve was a pleasure to be around. He welcomed me to the team, gave me bowling advice and we talked about our lives every week. He was a great guy and someone I looked forward to chatting with each week. Wishing strength and comfort to Steve's family and anyone who had the pleasure to know him.

My heart breaks for your family, I met Steve during bowling leagues.   I will miss his mix of stoicism and stubbornness ... When having a bad pin fall.  I will always remember his kind spirit shown thru casual friendship, as I will cherish his sense of renewal - learning new skills and trying various careers.

Dear Tom and Melanie,
I am so very sorry to learn about Stephen and that he is no longer with us. Unfortunately I never got to spend as much time with you guys as I would have liked to. I'm stuck up here in the upper peninsula recovering from a broken leg with two vehicles that barely make it down the road and no money to buy a plane ticket. I wish I could be there to give you both a hug and to share family memories. Just know I love you both and I wish I could be with you. Hopefully Stephen is it a better place and he is enjoying time with his grandparents. Send you much love in this horrible time.
