Terrence Thomas Dober, 83, of Port Barrington, formerly Arlington Heights, was born on April 2, 1943, in Chicago to the late John and Estelle (nee Osowski) Dober and sadly passed away on September 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Terrence was the beloved husband to the late Marion A. (nee Perrone) Dober for 41 wonderful years; loving father to Kim (Kris) Furr and Jackie Casino; dear grandfather to Mallory Dunlevy, Brooke Dunlevy, Nicole Casino and Ben Casino; fond brother to Roger (Sofia) Dober; and favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be missed dearly.
He was a proud business owner and worked hard to provide for his family. When he wasn’t working, he was known as the family comedian and could always get everyone laughing at his stories.
Visitation will be on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 12:00 – 5:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. The funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, Arlington Heights. Entombment will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, River Grove, IL.
