Ted was born August 8, 1936, in Chicago and spent the majority of his life living in Chicago and the Northwest suburbs. After serving four years in the Air Force, Ted built a successful career in the apparel business, making lifelong friends along the way. While maintaining an office in downtown Chicago’s Apparel Center, Ted built a strong reputation for blending friendship and business, inviting many business contacts to stay at his family’s home while visiting Chicago.
Later in life, Ted traveled to Greece, attended Cubs games including a World Series game in 2016, and became a central figure in the lives of his grandchildren, all of them affectionately knowing him as “Papou.”
Ted will be remembered for his endearing sense of humor, hilarious facial expressions, and love of friends and family.
