Theresa Rose Balek-Roesner was born on February 27, 1963 in Elgin, Illinois to James Arthur and Catherine (nee Gosenski) Balek. She died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at her home.

Theresa was an administrative assistant for Hillside Auto Body. Theresa was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, godmother and friend, and an avid dog lover.

Theresa is survived by her mother, Catherine; her brothers, James Arthur, Jr. (Barbara) and Mark Edward; her nieces and nephews, Melissa (Hoeft), Katie, Colleen, Jill, Theresa Marie, Athena, James Arthur, III, Julianna, and Hunter; and her sister-in-law, Judith.

She was preceded in death by her father; and her uncles, Edward and Ladislav Balek.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, Illinois. Prayers 10:45 am, Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, Ill. for Mass at 11:30 am. Committal following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Ill.
