Timothy Philbin

Of Palatine

Timothy Philbin was born on August 26, 1959 in Evanston to Thomas and Dorothy (nee Hoeft) Philbin. He died Sunday, May 13, 2018 in Chicago.

Tim worked as a Librarian for 22 years at Harper College in Palatine. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Palatine, and he enjoyed acting and was a member of The Prairie Center For the Arts in Schaumburg. Tim was an avid reader, and he loved to spend time with his family and was loved by all.

Timothy is survived by his aunt; Ruth E. Wheeler; cousins, Janice (Brian Rehberger) Rogers, Michael (Sylvia) Dolinajec, Patricia Utzke, Kathy (James) Kolb, Lynne (Ken) Kronvold and Gary (Annette) Wheeler; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 12:00 pm until the 2:00 pm Memorial Service at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Prairie Center Performing Arts Foundation, 201 Schaumburg Ct., Schaumburg, IL 60193.
