

Todd R. Glenn passed away on February 28, 2024. He was born in Washington, D.C. on June 17, 1933, spending his early years in Bethesda, Maryland. He had a keen interest in nature, was an avid boy scout and falconer and an early member of the Falconry Club of America.
He attended Northwestern University and was President of Theta Xi Fraternity. Upon graduation in 1955, he was commissioned an ensign in the U.S. Navy, serving as gunnery officer aboard the USS Shasta.
He began a 33 year career with the Bell System in 1957 serving with Illinois Bell, Bell Telephone Laboratories and AT&T. Todd married Katherin Brooks of Rye, New York in 1960. He was active in United Way and served as Board President of United Way of Illinois until he retired as Assistant Vice President of Illinois Bell in 1990.
He and Katherine moved to Lexington, Virginia where Todd became active with Habitat for Humanity, serving as Board President of the Rockbridge County Affiliate. He and Katherine returned to the Chicago area in 2010 to be located near their oldest daughter and her family.
Todd was an ardent student of the Bible and a firmly committed Christian. He was a member of the Orchard Evangelical Free Church in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He is survived by his son Stephen and two daughters, Elisabeth Hemmer and Carolyn Miller and nine grandchildren.
