Vasil "Pete" Peter Santos

At the age of 17, Pete enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served his country with honor for 26 years. Pete valued his service deeply and was awarded numerous commendations, including for his service in the Vietnam War.

Following his retirement from the USMC, Pete dedicated 25 years to United Parcel Service (UPS), where he formed lasting friendships and enjoyed many rounds of golf with his colleagues.

Pete was the devoted husband of Dorothy J. (nee Brown) and a loving father to the late Jamie Santos and Laurie Santos (Tom Goszczynski). He was a cherished grandfather to Ben and Sam, and a dear brother to the late George Santos (Noelle). Pete was also a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Pete was known as a special and good man who loved unconditionally and would do anything for someone in need. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and he will be remembered for his unwavering support and compassion.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home. Prayers and military honors will follow at 12:30 PM at the same location. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

Pete will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
