I realized we sent many emails back and forth but i never  signed your moms guest book . So I'm finally doing this and most is repetitive of what we discussed .  You know when  we think back of our fond memories of Costa Rica your mom Violet will always be part of that memory . Her warm persona , smile and joy for life was an inspiration for all of us and I'm sure for all that met her, All through her life . Nancy you were blessed to have such a wonderful mother and her to have you as a daughter . As I told you by phone , Violet is still with you and your family , watching and guiding you from the heaven above . Dear Nancy and family,
    I was once an occupational therapist at the Terrace and first met Violet there where she came daily to spend as much time as possible with her beloved Ralph.  She not only brightened each one of his days but was a bright ray of sunshine and joy to other residents as well as staff members!  I also had the pleasure of attending the same church. When I heard Sunday of her sudden illness and visited her Monday I was devastated to learn of her passing Wednesday.  I have thought of her all week!! She was such a sweet lady who I just LOVED to visit with. She always had a smile and sweet words of wisdom to share !! She was genuinely concerned for others and was always first to ask "how are you ?"   I will miss Violet terribly and want your family to know you are in my thoughts.  I will be praying for you to feel God's comfort and strength as you deal with this terrible loss.

We are very sorry for your loss....Violet was such a wonderful neighbor and friend, she will be missed dearly by all that knew her. Your memories will keep her in your heart.  I know I will remember her always!

Your beautiful mom passed on the 13th day of 2013. Now, 13 is considered an unlucky number, and what a sad day for you, your family and all who loved her. But the angels in Heaven are feeling very lucky to have her in their midst, and I am sure they have already enjoyed listening to many of her wonderful stories!
 
Thinking of you and hoping you are getting through this. Been there, and it is so tough. Take comfort in the fact that you two enjoyed the trip/adventure of a lifetime together.

I was beside myself when I heard the news.
We were to meet up with Vi in Florida.
Vi was one of those rare people that can touch people so deeply.
Even though I only knew Vi for a short time.
She was who I aspire to be as a person that lived life to the fullest.
You just felt good being around her.
She will very much be missed.
