Virginia Gaughan was born November 19, 1924, in Chicago, to Frank and Josephine (nee Paese) Principe. She passed away peacefully at her home in Buffalo Grove on May 24, 2018.
Virginia is survived by her children Kathy (Dave) Krakowski, Eileen (Dick) Mattison, Tom (Laura) Gaughan, her daughter-in-law, Sharon; and her grandchildren Chris, Bobby, Jamie, Scott, Tracy, Justin, Sarah, and Heather; great-grandchildren Ethan, Mason, and Tessa.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband James Gaughan and her son Jim.
Visitation Thursday, May 31, 2018, at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, from 9:30 AM until the time of mass at 11:30 AM. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 2151, 501st St. Jude Place, Memphis, and TN 38101-2151.
