

Virginia was born on April 26,1932, in West Palm Beach, FL to her parents Silvio and Marion (Morel) Cianfrone. She spent her childhood enjoying the sunshine and beaches of south Florida with her sister and brothers. She graduated from Saint Ann Catholic school in 1950.
In 1955, she met the love of her life, Claude "Jim" Moss, who was serving in the Air Force. They were married on January 21,1956, at Saint Juliana Catholic Church in West Palm Beach. Following the wedding the couple made their home in South Elgin, IL where they welcomed two daughters.
Virginia enjoyed her life as a wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. Gardening was always a joy of hers as well. With a green thumb, she had a beautiful garden every summer. She was active in her church and loved her Heavenly Father dearly. Virginia volunteered at her church, in her daughters' schools and in their activities, including being a girl scout leader for many years. In addition to spending time with their children and grandchildren,the couple enjoyed traveling and cruises. After Jim retired, he and Virgina spent 19 winters on Hutchinson Island, FL, back to the sunshine state where they met. The couple made their home in South Elgin, IL, and St. Joseph, MI before settling in Arlington Heights in 1984. They enjoyed 69 years of life together and Virgina will be greatly missed.
Virginia is survived by her husband Jim, daughter Cheryl (Randy) Price, daughter Amy (Kevin) Krabbe, brother Silvio (Margie) Cianfrone and her beloved grand and great grandchildren Ha, Theu, Kyle, Courtney (Colby), Brayden and Logan and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Silvio and Marion (Morel) Cianfrone, sister Rose Marie (George) Coppola, brother Frank (Martha) Cianfrone, sister-in-law Carol Moss and precious grandson Bradley Price.
Funeral Mass will be held at St James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights, IL at 10:00 a.m. on February 4, 2025, with a visitation at the church at 9:00 a.m. that morning.
