Virginia lived a life defined by her generous spirit, deep devotion to her family, and steadfast faith in God, which guided her throughout her years. She made her home in Arlington Heights for over 65 years, where she built lasting friendships and left a legacy of love, kindness, and faith.
Virginia is reunited in eternity with her beloved husband, Harry, and her cherished siblings: Dorothy, Bob (Denise), and Alice (Peter). Her memory will be forever treasured, and her loving presence deeply missed.
Virginia is survived by her children: Jim (Elizabeth), Nancy (Bob), Michael (Jackie), Dan (Cathy), Sue, and Peter (Caren). She was the proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and meaning to her life. Her love for family was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
Virginia was a long time parishioner at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, where she served faithfully as a Eucharistic Minister. She volunteered her time with the Religious Education Program, sharing her faith and commitment with young children.
Professionally, Virginia dedicated decades to Northwest Community Hospital, where she worked as a medical transcriber in both the Pathology and Radiology departments before retiring. Her work ethic and devotion were evident to all. She served as a valued mentor to new staff, generously sharing her knowledge and experience.
Virginia will always be remembered for her sense of humor, her warmth, and her kindness. She had a way of bringing laughter into even the most ordinary moments. Her generous spirit and compassionate heart touched everyone who knew her, and her legacy of love and joy will live on in the lives she touched.
