Walter Edward Gasparovic

Walter Edward Gasparovic of Palatine, IL passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his wife Elizabeth Gasparovic (Thiel) on May 3. Despite his numerous health challenges throughout his life, Walter remained resilient, never losing his quick wit and infectious personality. He battled Parkinsons for more than 12 years, without a complaint. He continued to live life in pursuit of joy, peace, and deeper relationships, making the most of each day he had with those he loved. In the last months of his time on earth, he put his faith in Jesus Christ, giving his loved ones the greatest gift -- assurance of his salvation. Although he will be missed greatly, we find comfort in knowing that when his earthly body breathed its last, he entered the glories of heaven on that beautiful morning, fully healed in the presence of Jesus.

Walt is survived by his wife Elizabeth, sons Sean and Michael, 5 grandchildren, Olivia, Elliot, Ethan, Winter and Leon, sisters Linda (Paul) and Betty (Doug) and Daphne Roy, who held a cherished place in his heart.

A Celebration of New Life will be held on Friday, May 29th at The Orchard Church in Arlington Hts., IL. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30 am until the beginning of service at 11:00 am.
