Warren George Lynch

Warren George Lynch was born February 8, 1933 in Chicago to Leo Joseph and Carolyn Sophie (nee Spalinger) Lynch. He passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024 at Alden of Long Grove.

A lifetime Chicago area resident, Warren joined the Air Force at the age of 17. He became a Basic Airman Private and served in the 51st Fighter Interceptor wing as an official USAF photographer during the Korean War.

Warren is survived by his children Joann Courvoisier, Joyce (Tom Hannay) Short, Cheryl (late Steve) Korshak, Susan (Michael) Gavin and Robert (Ann) Lynch; his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; his brother Michael (late Jeannette Winston) Lynch and by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Betty (nee Gamble) Lynch; his second wife Marilyn (nee Klechak) Lynch; his daughter Sandra (Lamar) Hester; his siblings Carol (late Tom) Underwood and Thomas (Dixie) Lynch.
