William Lee Baskins, Jr.

William Lee Baskins, Jr., 57, was born on July 15, 1966, in Sycamore, Illinois to William Sr. and Linda (nee Blade) Baskins. He died Sunday, March 10, 2024, in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

William was a man who wore many hats - from his role as a former respiratory therapist and manager of a blood bank to his current entrepreneurial enterprise as the owner of Baskins Apparel & Accessories. He loved to dance, travel, and was known for his enthusiastic participation in game nights with his friends and family.

William is survived by his partner, Donald Schiller; his sons Justin and Austin Baskins; his father, William (Mary) Baskins, Sr.: his sister Diana (Arlie) Sandusky, his brother Brian Baskins, his nieces and nephews, Samantha, Arlie, and Sarah Sandusky, Serenity, and Faith Baskins; his former spouse Christine Baskins; his stepsister, Angela Taylor; and his step-niece Kaylie Silva.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Baskins; and his brother, Michael Baskins.

His family will receive guests from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd.,1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the donor's favorite charity.
