Bill was born on January 5, 1962 to William E. and Georgiana Glennon in Chicago, IL. After Bill graduated from Maine South High School in 1980, he went on to study at the University of Notre Dame for his Bachelor's degree. Bill was a talented trumpeter and played in the storied Notre Dame marching band. He then achieved his MBA from DePaul University.
Bill led a successful career at Kraft Foods/Mondelez for 29 years, retiring in 2017. During his time at Kraft, Bill initiated a partnership with Habitat for Humanity and successfully led 5 builds. After retiring from Corporate America, Bill further pursued and fulfilled several life dreams. He coached high school freshman girls basketball for two years, returning to the gyms his own children competed in. Bill also taught life skills and study hall enrichment classes at local high schools and served as a job coach. More recently, Bill volunteered with Team Rubicon to assist with disaster relief in communities that were severely impacted by natural disasters.
Bill placed the utmost importance on the family he started with his loving wife, Stephanie (Martin). Bill and Stephanie started dating in December 1984 and married in May 1986. Over the course of their 39 years together, they welcomed three children, Alyssa, Lexi, and Curtis, and created countless memories as a family. Many family vacations were enjoyed with some of the favorites including Disney World, Europe, Banff, and Vermont.
Bill worked incredibly hard to provide for his family and he always prioritized them by being present and involved. He coached all of his children in various sports including basketball, soccer, and baseball. Bill brought so much fun and laughter to his family through his love of Motown music, trumpet tunes, witty jokes, and competitive spirit with yard games. He was also a loving grandpaw to his grandpups who he loved to take on walks and chase around the backyard.
