William "Bill" Kowal

William Kowal was born November 14, 1951 in Chicago to Richard and Marjorie (nee Mauck) Kowal." He died December 21, 2015 at Journey Care in Barrington, IL.Bill was a 1973 graduate of Saint Louis University, with a BS in Meteorology." He was chief forecaster for channel 13 Fox WTVT in Tampa Bay, FL, Meteorologist for flight operations for United Airlines and current consulting meteorologist for Rosenthal Collins Commodities Trading Firm." Bill enjoyed golfing, fishing, Notre Dame Football and his daily walks around the neighborhood." He was always looking at weather, always with family.Bill is survived by his wife Laura (nee Broulik) Kowal; his daughter Kelly Kowal; his mother Marjorie; his siblings Peggy (Doug) Fisher, Mary Kay (Mick) Callaghan, Carol (Dale) Costantino and Nancy Mikeworth; his brother in laws William (Barb) Broulik, Dale (Brenda) Broulik, Mark Broulik, Stephen (Brenda) Broulik and Wesley (Mandy) Broulik; his sister in law Susan (Daryl) Spivey; and by many nieces and nephews.Bill is preceded in death by his father Richard; his father in law Richard Broulik and mother in law Mary Constance (nee Anderson) Broulik.Visitation Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N.
