William Edward Leber passed away on the morning of February 14, 2022. Ever the romantic, Bill joined the love of his life, Jeanne, in heaven on Valentine’s Day. Bill recently celebrated his 90th birthday with all who were dear to him. Nothing was more important to Bill than his family and friends. A very close second was the love of his country. He proudly served to preserve the freedom of this great country as a soldier in the United States Marine Corps in the Korean War.
Bill lived his life with courage, integrity, and dignity and exhibited these qualities until his last breath. He wanted to be remembered as “he truly cared about other people’s feelings, and he respected everyone regardless of their status in life”.
Bill was the devoted husband of Jeanne (deceased) and is survived by his six children Lynn (Michael) Pehanich, Bill Leber, Mark (Pam) Leber, Dean (Maureen) Leber, Pamela Harkness and Jennifer (Mark) Bell. He was the cherished grandfather “Papa” of Nine grandchildren, Delaney, Kyle, Michala, Wil, Robert, Meghan, Karly, Jimmy, and Gus. Bill was the dear brother of his sisters Shirley Bauer, Marion, and JoAnne “Babe” Bridger (deceased), and Uncle Bill to his large extended family.
