I will always remember Bill as a friendly and thoughtful classmate 
who always took time to listen and talk and offer advice and had kind words to share.  He was also an amazing basketball player.
We will miss miss him.

My siblings and I spent so many Christmases with cousins Bill and Beth Ann at their house in the 50's and 60's. We had lots of great dinners, roasted chestnuts and lots of laughs with all the cousins.  We always made a recording to send to our cousins in Albuquerque.  Bill's parents, Uncle Tom and Aunt Beth were always so warm and loving to all of us. I haven't seen Bill much over the years but my family was fortunate to have seen him, Wendy, Beth and Don last summer in Chicago.  Bill was such a wonderful and caring man and I can only imagine how much he will be missed.  I will miss receiving his terrific emails and photos.  My love and prayers go out to the whole family.  Rest in peace, cousin Bill.

Bill would speak at Conant High on veteran's day. Bill would tell his story, he did this for the past few years.  I was so grateful he took the time, it was an all day affair and not the best weather (november). He was always happy to be there and really got the students engaged.  Altho, some how the conversation  always took a turn. Yes, to baseball!!! Mainly The Cubs!.  Bill will be sorely missed at this event. 

I will always remember our time at Valpo…cheers to your life well lived!  My journey took me to many different places, but my memories will always remain. God Bless Bill. 

My sincere condolences to all of Bill's family and friends.  As fraternity brothers and Facebook friends,  I was overjoyed when  Bill contacted me during Covid to tell me he watched my Sunday morning sermons on Facebook since our church was closed.  Bill also told me that he had followed my career as head of his insurance trade association before retiring to the ministry.  I was so delighted and it brought back my memories of a really decent man.  He will be missed.

We will be forever grateful for all the family history and photos Bill was able to find and share with us—champion genealogist. He was warm and loving and fun to be around.  He was always up for a spur-of-the-moment rendezvous at Russell’s BBQ, which we didn’t do nearly enough. We’re just going to miss you, Bill!

Bill was a very special uncle to me.  He always took the time when I was a child, to talk and "kid around" with me.  He had a wonderful sense of humor, and I always enjoyed visiting with him at family gatherings.  He will be missed.

I always think of Bill fondly --  any time I hear any Moody Blues' song.
