William E. Veternik

William E. Veternik was born on April 3, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Gloria (nee Boryca) Veternik. He died Sunday, October 28, 2018 at JourneyCare in Barrington.

Mr. Veternik worked as a Pre-Loader for UPS for 24yrs

His interests and hobbies included watching sports, listening to music, drinking beer and shooter time, and being the entertainer for everyone in the room.

William is survived by his wife Kathy Veternik (nee Case); his children Dustin Veternik, Brianna Veternik, and his dog Toshia: his father John Veternik; his brothers John Veternik, Jr., Robert "Bobby" (Nicole) Veternik and James "Jimmy" (Karen) Veternik and his sister Marianne Veternik; he is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and a host of long-time friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Veternik.

Memorial Visitation Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights, IL 60004 and on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 9:00 am until time of Memorial Mass 10:00 am at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will be private.
