He was an enthusiastic docent for the Chicago Architectural Foundation, leading tours throughout the Loop for many years.Bill is survived by his sister Charlotte (late Joseph) Hofmann; and by his nieces and nephews Susan (Lawrence) Ellen, Joseph (Cathy) Hofmann, Lee Hofmann, Lynn (Robert) Michal, Alan (Melody) Hofmann and William (Nancy) Hofmann.Bill is preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services will be private."
