

Wilma Marie Brinkman, age 100, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026. Born on June 7, 1925, in Englevale, KS. She raised her family in West Chicago and moved to enjoy her retirement in Las Vegas for 37 years. Wilma lived a long and full life marked by grace, resilience, and quiet strength.
Wilma was devoted to her family and found joy in taking care of them when they visited Las Vegas. She loved the simple things- eating out, BINGO, golf, playing Sudoku/video poker and time spent with those she loved. Her life spanned a century of change, which she embraced with curiosity and humility.
She is survived by her son, George Brinkman, Jr (Sheri); her grandchildren, Daniel Brinkman (Brittany), Nicole Brinkman (Waylon), Stacey Brinkman-Stuck (AJ); her great-grandchildren, Zaidee, Dawson, and Gabriel; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Wilma was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, George T. Brinkman; son, Larry Edward (Sharon) and several other dear loved ones.
Wilma will be laid to rest on January 16, 2026. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
Wilma’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
