Zofia Barbara Garbal

Zofia Barbara Garbal was born on February 5, 1939 in Wistowiec, Poland to Pawel and Helena (nee Raczynska) Krolikowski. She died on February 21, 2023 at Alexian Brothers Hospice in Elk Grove Village.

Zofia was a factory Stockroom worker for Paasche Airbrush Company for over twenty years.

Zofia was known as Basia to her family and closest friends. Zofia was an amazing cook and had a passion for gardening, her home was always filled with blooming plants.

Zofia is survived by her daughter Justine (Michael) Flynn and her grandchildren Alexander, Peter and Stefanie Flynn.

Zofia was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Czeslaw P. Garbal, her brother Lucjan Krolikowski, her sister Sabina Molas as well as her brother-in-law Karol Garbal.

Visitation Friday, February 24, 2023 from 11:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00pm at Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

In lieu of flowers a memorial gift may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
