Adolph Huron Herrera

Adolph Huron Herrera, age 72 of Arlington, passed away on November 1, 2019 with his family at his side. He was born on July 7, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Anastacio Herrera and Maria Isabel Huron. Adolph married Sylvia Torres on November 5 and they celebrated 53 years of marriage before his passing.

Adolph proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. After his service, Adolph moved to Michigan to work for General Motors and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. Following his retirement, Adolph worked for several years for the TSA. Adolph was a member of the Rush Creek Church and loved to volunteer when he could at church events. In his spare time, Adolph enjoyed cars (especially his Cadillac), fishing, football and the Detroit Lions, and spending time with his dogs. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his family and friends.

Adolph is survived by his wife Sylvia; their children Adolph Herrera Jr and fiancé Peggy Gomez, Terri Lamblin and husband Jason, Larry Herrera, Adrian Herrera and wife Pauline, and Michael Herrera and wife Amanda; grandchildren A.J., Rico, Sergio, Sophia, Shannon, Yazmin, Alicia, Erica, Cameryn, Chloe, Natalie, Alexis, Markus, and Chance; great grandchildren Layla and Shiloh; siblings Robert, Celia, Beatrice, and Helen. Adolph was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roger.
