To Alan's parents: My heart aches for your loss. You raised a diligent and faithful servant not only in spirit but also to his commitment to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office. Law Enforcement was his life and everyone who knew him respected him. He was a true gentleman. I have several fond memories of our time together one of which where Alan escorted me to the symphony a few years back. Boy, did he look so handsome...treated me like a queen. You raised a good man. He will be missed by so many.

So sorry to hear about Alan's passing. Grew up together, went to school together and always enjoyed talking with him. Condolences to the family.

You will be missed, friend. We will always remember your smile and warmest of hearts.

I had the pleasure of getting to see this great man at work.  He was always smiling and very nice and had a  great sense of humor.  He will be missed. Praying for his family.

Hearing of Alan's passing was shocking.  My heart and prayers go out to the Dennis family.  I was lucky enough to get to spend many years making great memories with Alan - travel, weekends and events.  He was always a true gentlemen with the kindest heart. I had the pleasure of caring for my sweet brother the last 3 weeks of his life. He was my hero and inspiration for being a good man. He died in my arms and I am missing him more than words can describe. The only thing that gives me peace, is knonwing that he was pain free when he slipped away from me and died. Please pray for me and my folks as we deal with this horrific blow to our family and may God bless each one of the Sheriffs department staff. With out thier support, we would be lost!

I pray God holds you in his loving arms and comforts you during this difficult time.
