Alford Wayne Sears

Wayne was born on March 31, 1944, in Lemoore, California to Oran Alford Sears and Audra Mae Bench.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Mildred Estelle Burcalow and Lamanda Ann Parsons; his daughter, Mary Sears; his sister, Betty Jean Sears; his brother, Roy Lee Sears; and his sister, Doris Marie Sears.

Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from August 11, 1961, to September 24, 1963. He received an honorable discharge and attained the rank of Airman Second Class.

He is survived by his wife of eleven years, Shirley Sears; his sons, Kevin Wayne Sears and Timothy Ray Sears; his daughters, Glenda Sears and Linda Spears; his stepdaughter, Debra Lockhart; his stepson, Michael Harris; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Wayne will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those who knew and loved him.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
